The Stardew Valley Greenhouse is a game-changer, offering year-round crop production and a significant boost to your farming profits. Unlocking it via Community Center bundles (or the Joja route) grants access to a space where seasonal limitations are a thing of the past. This guide details the Greenhouse's plant capacity.

What's the Greenhouse All About?

Located on your farm, the Greenhouse allows you to cultivate any plant, regardless of the season, including fruit trees. This constant source of income is invaluable, particularly for high-yield crops. The Greenhouse's interior features 10 rows and 12 columns of tilled land, plus exterior space for trees, chests, and equipment like Seed Makers.

Greenhouse Planting Capacity: The Numbers

The Greenhouse's capacity depends on your use of sprinklers.

  • Without Sprinklers: You can plant up to 120 crops and 18 fruit trees (remembering the two-tile spacing requirement for fruit trees).

  • With Sprinklers: Sprinklers significantly reduce watering time. The number of sprinklers needed varies depending on the type:

    • Sixteen Quality Sprinklers (covering twelve tiles)
    • Six Iridium Sprinklers (covering four tiles)
    • Four Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles (covering two tiles)
    • Five Iridium Sprinklers with Pressure Nozzles (covering one tile)
