Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM Unveil New Skins, Emotes, and Challenges in Latest Collaboration

Get ready for another thrilling collaboration as Overwatch 2 teams up once again with the popular K-pop girl group, LE SSERAFIM. This exciting event is set to launch on March 18, 2025, and promises a host of new skins, emotes, and in-game challenges for fans to enjoy.

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM: A New Chapter Begins March 18, 2025

Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce its second collaboration with LE SSERAFIM, perfectly timed with the release of the group's latest album, "Hot." This event follows their successful partnership in November 2023, which celebrated the song "Perfect Night." The excitement was reignited with a trailer released on March 11 via a Twitter (X) post, confirming the upcoming festivities. The collaboration was initially teased during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.

Players can look forward to an array of new skins designed for characters such as Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored versions of skins from the 2023 event, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed outfits for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte, will be available for purchase. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the first collaboration won't return, fans can still earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing event-specific challenges.

In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further explained the team's enthusiasm for integrating K-pop culture into the game, mentioning a visualizer for a new song from LE SSERAFIM's album and the extensive cosmetics planned for this event.

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To kick off the event, an exclusive Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST on Twitch and YouTube.
