Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10th Anniversary with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is hitting a major milestone—its 10th anniversary—and Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios are celebrating with a colossal update set to launch on March 25th. This update is packed with new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars mode, a fresh challenge tower, and heaps of anniversary rewards to mark the occasion.

The spotlight shines on MK1 Geras, a new diamond-tier fighter, who joins the fray with a suite of impressive abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To add him to your roster, you'll need to earn rewards through Realm Klash or the Kombat Pass.

Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of ascending to Level 5. She introduces unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. You can unlock her via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular one.

Faction Wars is undergoing a major overhaul and is now rebranded as Realm Klash. Players can now align with one of five realms and battle it out for Realm Points across two-week seasons, rather than just fighting for Blood Rubies.

In honor of the 10th Anniversary, new ranks—Elder God, God, and Demi God—have been introduced to Mortal Kombat Mobile. Blood Ruby Packs now boast new Kameo offers and MK1 Geras rewards, alongside a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previous exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme challenge, a limited-time event spanning two weeks with 50 floors. Collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, and unlock Brutality equipment sets for MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras.

A Fusion Boost modifier also enters the scene, powering up the lowest fused card in your team to balance the gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are returning for more action.

To celebrate this grand anniversary, starting April 1st, you'll receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
