Concerns about weapon design similarity in Monster Hunter: World have been addressed by Monster Hunter Wilds Director Yuya Tokuda. While World weapons shared base designs with variations based on materials, Tokuda confirmed that Wilds features entirely unique weapon designs for each weapon.

In comparison, the slideshow below presents a selection of Monster Hunter Wilds weapons, each demonstrating a distinct and individual design.
