Minecraft Movie to Feature Exclusive Popcorn Bucket

by Skylar May 19,2025

Remember those themed popcorn buckets that everyone was raving about? Well, get ready for more, because the upcoming Minecraft movie is set to launch its own unique concessions novelties during its theatrical run. According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, accompanied by a chicken jockey drink container—a treat for true fans. These exclusive items will be available at Cinemark theaters across the United States. While other theaters may have their own Minecraft-themed surprises in store, we'll just have to wait and see what they come up with.

These Minecraft-inspired novelties continue a trend that became a national phenomenon with the R2-D2 popcorn bucket from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. The viral success of that snack container sparked a wave of excitement among theater executives, leading to a modern theatrical tradition that's both fun and a bit overdone, yet undeniably effective in drawing crowds. If these unique items encourage more people to experience movies in theaters, then it's a win in my book.
