For fans of Pokémon Go, Raid Days are always a thrilling event, and the upcoming one is no exception. Get ready for the return of Mega Kangaskhan, set to appear in raids on Saturday, May 3rd from 3pm to 5pm local time. This event promises a wealth of benefits for all participating players.
The return of Kangaskhan is particularly exciting as this Pokémon is typically region-locked. If you're aiming to complete your Kanto Pokédex, this is your golden opportunity! To assist players, the Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 20, effective from 5pm PDT on Saturday, May 2nd until 8pm on May 3rd.
You'll also have the chance to earn five additional Raid Passes by spinning Gym Discs, and there's an enhanced chance of encountering a Shiny Kangaskhan during Mega Raids. Whether you're looking to fill out your Pokédex or strengthen your team, this Raid Day is an event you won't want to miss.
To further enhance your experience, you can purchase an Event Pass for $4.99 or its regional equivalent. This pass will grant you eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, totaling 14 daily. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn Rare Candy XL, receive 50% more XP, and double the Stardust from Raid Battles.
Don't forget the free Timed Research available during the event. Complete it to earn 10,000 Stardust, and an additional 1,000 Stardust for participating in a Raid Battle, along with other rewards. Make sure to claim these before 5pm local time on May 3rd!
