Marvel Snap continues to delve into the expansive Marvel universe with its latest season, What If...?, bringing a fresh twist by exploring alternate realities of well-known characters. This season introduces exciting new cards featuring alternate versions of iconic heroes and villains, such as Captain Carter and the Hydra Stomper, alongside other intriguing additions like Goliath, Kahhori, Infinity Ultron, and the Infinity Stones. These new entries set the stage for a thrilling multiverse showdown, offering players a chance to experience Marvel Snap in a whole new way.
The return of the High Voltage mode adds another layer of excitement, known for its fast-paced gameplay. Starting April 18th, players can earn a new character, Dum Dum Dugan, for free by participating in this mode and completing missions. High Voltage mode has proven popular in previous runs, notably when it was used to acquire the First Ghost Rider card last month. Given its success, it's likely to become a staple feature, potentially offering new cards as rewards in future rotations.
While the What If...? season is a welcome addition to Marvel Snap's lineup, it might not be as groundbreaking as some previous themes like The Prehistoric Avengers. Nonetheless, the introduction of new cards and rewards is always a great incentive to dive back into the game. To enhance your gameplay, consider checking our tier list of all Marvel Snap cards, ranked from best to worst, to keep your deck composition fresh and competitive.
