For those not in the loop, let's backtrack a bit. Nintendo recently announced Mario Kart World, which introduced the Moo Moo Meadows Cow as a playable racer. This announcement has sparked a wave of excitement across the internet, with fans creating countless memes and pieces of fanart celebrating the once-background character now stepping into the spotlight.

However, the excitement took a curious turn when fans noticed a potential issue in the Nintendo Direct 2 trailer. In the trailer, Mario is seen eating a burger, which, as we know, is typically made from beef. At the Nintendo preview event, IGN got the answer. The food items seen in the trailer are available at Yoshi's diner locations scattered throughout the game's courses. And yes, Cow can indeed eat all of them.

IGN shared a tweet confirming that Cow can eat steak in Mario Kart World, and during their session, they also observed Cow consuming a burger. Interestingly, while other racers change costumes upon consuming these items, Cow doesn't seem to experience any visible effects.
