Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to enhance its round-based survival mode Zombies with a brand-new map, marking it as the fifth addition to the game. A sneak peek of this thrilling development was shared through the official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X (Twitter). On a post dated March 12, 2025, an image showcased the front of a grand mansion, showing visible damage on its walls, flaming army car wreckage, dark puffs of black smoke, and internal fires.

The caption accompanying the image read, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" alongside a "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a familiar face in the series, played a significant role in Call of Duty: Cold War. Given that Black Ops 6 is a remake of this title, Eddie's return comes as no surprise.

Observant fans have noted that this map features the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, as indicated on the teaser image. This timeline aligns perfectly with the narrative from the previous Black Ops 6 Zombies map, The Tomb, suggesting a continuation of the story.

Another intriguing aspect of this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies, as confirmed by Treyarch on their Instagram account. When a user commented, "cannot wait to feel the wrath of 20 amalgams on this map too," the developers responded succinctly with "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high HP and powerful attacks, are part of the Elite class. Their exclusion from this map promises a potentially smoother gameplay experience for players.
