Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set, Aetherdrift, promises an exhilarating multiplanar death race across the multiverse, and we're thrilled to offer an exclusive sneak peek at two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck. Dive into the gallery below to explore these cards, along with some stunning alternate art treatments.

Let's start with Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon creature that encapsulates the essence of Aetherdrift's red-white color pairing. This card represents the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, first seen in the 2018 set, Battlebond. With a power of 3, it's designed to efficiently crew vehicles and features an activated ability that generates Pilot token creatures, enhancing your vehicle strategy in a red-white deck during an Aetherdrift draft.
The more dazzling reveal is the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card with an all-red-pip casting cost embodies the thrill of "impulse draw." At the beginning of your turn, you exile the top card of your library and have the opportunity to play it that turn. It's a perfect fit for mono-red decks, offering a continuous stream of new cards, provided you can use them immediately.
We're also excited to showcase Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While extended art simply expands the art beyond the traditional card frame, the First-Place Foils introduce a fresh element to Aetherdrift. These exclusive golden cards come in a randomized buy-a-box promo pack with every Aetherdrift box, featuring all the set's rares and 10 full-art lands in this dazzling treatment.
Aetherdrift is set to launch on February 14, with prerelease events beginning on February 7. For a deeper dive into the set's mechanics, click here.
