by Nova May 29,2025

Electronic Arts has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated next installment in the Madden NFL series, marking the franchise's complete transition to the current-generation consoles. Madden NFL 26 is set to launch on August 14, 2025, with a three-day early access period beginning on August 11 for Deluxe Edition pre-orders. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC through the EA app for Windows, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

This marks the first time the Madden series will appear on Nintendo's hybrid handheld console, while simultaneously bidding farewell to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Neither of the previous-generation consoles will support Madden NFL 26, signifying the series' full embrace of the PS5 and Xbox Series era.

PlayMultiple pre-order options are available, including a loyalty program for fans who own Madden NFL 25, 24, or 23. These players will receive a 10% discount on their purchase and a 99 OVR Player Pack for Madden NFL 25 Ultimate Team. Additionally, the MVP Bundle combines the Deluxe Editions of Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26 into one comprehensive package. Below is a detailed breakdown of what the Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 26 includes.
