The Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS comes in two configurations to suit different needs and budgets. The first model features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, priced at $549.99, matching the cost of the 512GB OLED Steam Deck. The second, more powerful option includes an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, available for $749.99.

Both models offer a 120Hz gaming experience and come equipped with two USB-C ports. Storage can be expanded effortlessly with a microSD card. Additionally, the device features trigger locks that enable hair triggers, enhancing your gameplay in competitive shooters like Marvel Rivals.

With more powerful chips than the Steam Deck, the Lenovo Legion Go S should be capable of running recent games that push the limits of the Deck, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

It's important to differentiate these SteamOS-based Legion Go S models from the Windows 11-based Legion Go S released earlier this year. Valve has announced that SteamOS will soon be available for other non-Steam Deck handhelds. This means you'll soon have the flexibility to install SteamOS on your preferred handheld gaming PC. If you're seeking a device more powerful than the Steam Deck to run SteamOS, the Lenovo Legion Go S should be at the top of your list.
