LEGO has unveiled an exciting lineup of nine new Star Wars sets, all set to launch on May 1, 2025. These releases are perfectly timed to coincide with Disney's extensive celebration of May the 4th, known as Star Wars Day. Traditionally, LEGO marks this occasion by introducing a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. In 2023, fans were treated to Luke's X-Wing Starfighter, followed by the TIE Interceptor in 2024.
This year, LEGO enthusiasts and Star Wars fans alike can look forward to Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, famously known as Slave I among long-time aficionados. Due to a name change initiated by Disney in 2021, which LEGO confirmed, the ship is now referred to as Jango Fett's Firespray Starship. This rebranding reflects Disney's ongoing efforts to distance the brand from certain terminologies, and it appears the new name will remain in use.

The last significant version of this LEGO starship was released in 2019 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. That set featured 1007 pieces and captured the ship's appearance from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The new iteration, slated for 2025, boasts an impressive 2970 pieces and depicts the ship as seen in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. This latest model is nearly three times larger than its predecessor, measuring 7.5 inches high, 17.5 inches long, and 15.5 inches wide.
