Exciting news for Disney fans: The Lion King ride, destined for Disneyland Paris, has unveiled new images, detailed insights, and a construction commencement slated for Fall 2025. As announced by Disney Parks Blog, this groundbreaking land and attraction, themed entirely around The Lion King, promises to be a highlight of the transformed Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World. The immersive water ride will guide guests through iconic scenes from the beloved 1994 film, while the expansive land will boast a towering 120-foot-high Pride Rock, along with a plethora of dining options, shopping experiences, character meet-and-greets, and more.

This is just one element of the ride, which will also feature a thrilling 52-foot drop, surpassing Tiana's Bayou Adventure by a mere two inches.

While an exact opening date remains undisclosed, the ride will follow the debut of World of Frozen in 2026. This attraction forms a crucial part of the expansive Disney Adventure World, which will effectively double the size of the current park.

In addition to World of Frozen and The Lion King ride, the park will introduce Raiponce Tangled Spin, featuring Mandy Moore reprising her role as Rapunzel. Another eagerly awaited addition is the first-ever attraction inspired by Up, designed as a spinning carousel offering panoramic views of the park's scenic beauty.
