Mastering the Hunting Horn requires precise buff management and damage timing, especially in cooperative hunts.
Each Hunting Horn has unique songs requiring specific note combinations. The top-right corner indicates the required command for each note. Flourish and Overhead Smash allow adding extra notes during the second attack. Notes can even be played while riding your Seikret.
Chain multiple songs for diverse buffs, adapting to the situation. Remember that performances take time.
Maximize Echo Bubble use. It provides three additional note inputs and amplifies damage. Increased evasion and movement speed improve survivability, especially in High Rank hunts.
Prioritize the Self-Improvement skill to at least level 2 for a 20% attack boost.
Always have a Special Performance ready (e.g., Offset Melody). Use it defensively by holding the command (R2/RT + Triangle/Y + Circle/B) as a monster attacks to knock it down.
