For fans of Magic: The Gathering and Final Fantasy, the wait for June might feel endless, but Wizards of the Coast has just given us a tantalizing preview to ease the anticipation. Today, they unveiled over a dozen brand-new cards from the upcoming Final Fantasy set, featuring iconic characters such as Sephiroth, Yuffie, Cecil, Garland, Chaos, and more. This sneak peek not only showcases new cards but also introduces various art variations, complementing the previously revealed commander cards: Tidus, Cloud, Y'shtola, and Terra.
Among the highlights are powerful legendary cards like Sephiroth and Cecil, alongside fresh art for Food tokens and variations on existing cards such as Stilzkin, Moogle Merchant; Sin, Spira's Punishment; and Summon: Shiva. You can explore the entire gallery below:

The reveal also highlights unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons, which are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures, and the return of double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's dual nature as a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of these being borderless, illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is designed to be fully draftable and Standard-legal, and will launch alongside four preconstructed Commander decks, each inspired by a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with reimagined existing cards featuring new Final Fantasy art. Mark your calendars for the set's release on June 13.
