Gordon Ramsay, the renowned chef, is the latest celebrity to join Supercell's roster of collaborations. He'll be featured in Hay Day, beginning today, showcasing a surprisingly calm demeanor. Ramsay steps into the shoes of the absent Greg, introducing new in-game events and features.
As observed last year, Supercell's partnership with Erling Haaland opened the door for numerous celebrity collaborations. However, even I didn't anticipate Gordon Ramsay, star of Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell, and a Michelin-starred chef, becoming the next collaborator!
Indeed, Gordon Ramsay will appear in the game, accompanied by humorous trailers highlighting his newfound composure, including an apology video for Hell's Kitchen contestants.
Starting today and running until the 24th, Ramsay replaces Greg (who's gone fishing), offering new features and special events to celebrate his arrival.
Fresh additions While the famously fiery chef's relaxed approach is unexpected, it's not his first foray into mobile gaming; he's previously released mobile games based on his TV shows. This collaboration further demonstrates Supercell's increasing focus on partnerships.
Interestingly, Supercell appears to be prioritizing real-life celebrities alongside fictional franchises. Considering the generally older demographic of their games' fanbase, this strategy seems strategically sound.
