Gully Gangs: 4v4 Street Cricket Now in Open Beta on Android

In India, playing cricket in a tight alley, known as a gully, is often considered more fun than playing on a traditional field. Capturing this unique experience, an indie Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, has released their latest cricket game, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, into Open Beta on Android.

Not Your Usual Cricket Sim

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket breaks the mold with its 4v4 multiplayer format, set right in the heart of Indian gullies—narrow alleys bustling with life. This game marks the first-ever 4v4 street cricket experience, complete with rooftop catches, scooters blocking your path, and even nosy uncles shouting at you to stop breaking windows. Adding to the excitement, you can also enjoy 1v1 matches.

The game allows you to execute power moves and communicate with your gang through voice chat. You can talk, sledge, drop emojis during matches, and even pull off some sneaky tricks. The settings are authentic Indian neighborhoods, where you'll encounter broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.

Customization is a big part of Gully Gangs: Street Cricket. You can build your gang, dress them in funky outfits, and unlock various skins to make your team stand out.

5th Ocean Studios is committed to enhancing the game with numerous updates, including new street maps, fresh outfits, regular events, clan wars, and an esports mode in the future. The game will also feature leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and intense gang vs. gang matchups.

Currently available only on Android, the studio plans to expand to iOS and Steam, with full controller support and cross-platform features on the horizon. If you're eager to dive into this unique cricket experience, you can download Gully Gangs: Street Cricket from the Google Play Store.
