In *R.E.P.O.*, a thrilling cooperative horror game, your mission is simple yet challenging: retrieve valuable items and survive against an onslaught of randomly spawning monsters. Succeed, and not only do you escape with your loot, but you also earn the chance to stock up on survival gear, courtesy of the menacing AI Taxman and your hard-earned cash.
To secure these valuable items, you must locate and reach the Extraction Point where your C.A.R.T of treasures is assessed, and the Taxman permits your advance to the Service Station—ideally with a hefty sum to splurge on.
As you delve deeper into *R.E.P.O.*, what initially feels like a daunting task of extraction soon becomes second nature. With each conquered level and vanquished monster, the process becomes more routine.
In your initial foray into *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. However, as you progress to new locations, the number of these points can increase up to a maximum of four. Keep an eye on the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen to track how many extraction points you need to visit and how many you've already completed.

At the start of each level, the first Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck—a constant you can rely on for your initial haul. Subsequent extractions, however, add layers of complexity.
After your first drop-off, continue navigating the level as usual, but now you'll be in the dark about the Taxman's demands and the locations of subsequent Extraction Points. Here, your in-game map, accessible by pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, becomes invaluable. It won't reveal everything, but it helps plan your routes and, if playing with others, coordinate your efforts to cover more ground simultaneously.

You'll only discover the next Extraction Point upon reaching its area, signaled either visually or audibly. Once found, press the prominent red button to learn if you've gathered enough loot. If you have, position your C.A.R.T within the designated grey area to ensure all items are safely accounted for, avoiding any risk of destruction.
After completing an extraction, depending on the remaining points to find, you'll either move on to the next one by repeating the process or attempt to return to the truck unscathed. Remember, after the final extraction point and tally, you don't need to bring the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will await you at the next level or location.
With these insights on item extraction in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better equipped to navigate the game's challenges. Be sure to explore our other *R.E.P.O.* guides for more tips and strategies.
