After a delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally made its soft launch in the US. Hardbit Studio confirmed that starting May 15th, the game is available on Google Play for Android users. While the rest of the world eagerly awaits its turn, the additional development time has been well spent, enhancing the game's locations, performance, and overall content to ensure a more robust and stable experience for its full release later this year.
At its launch, Grand Outlaws offers three thrilling core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. Each mode is designed for quick, intense gameplay, featuring mobile-friendly controls and easy access to weapons, vehicles, and customizations. Players have the freedom to switch between these modes or explore the expansive open world at their leisure.
Currently exclusive to Android, Hardbit Studio has a detailed multi-platform rollout plan. A full release for Android and the Epic Store is slated for July or August, with iOS and PC versions coming to Steam and Epic in October. Console enthusiasts can look forward to versions on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch in 2026. Cross-platform play is also on the horizon, promising a unified gaming experience across devices.
Looking ahead, the studio is committed to enriching the game with new content. Future updates will introduce modes like Heists and Destruction Derby, alongside live events, a cinematic story mode, and more customization options for characters and hideouts. Collaborations with brands and seasonal content drops are also planned, ensuring a continually evolving gameplay experience.
