The God of War franchise has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide, and its latest entries have been warmly received. As the series approaches its 20th anniversary, exciting rumors are circulating, particularly about potential remasters of the original games. Industry insider Jeff Grubb suggests that an announcement could be made as early as March.

It's worth noting that the anniversary celebrations are scheduled for March 15-23, making it a likely timeframe for the announcement of a remastered version of Kratos' Greek saga.
Previously, Tom Henderson reported that the next installment in the God of War series might revisit Greek mythology, focusing on Kratos' early years. If these reports hold true, we could be looking at a prequel that sets the stage for these anticipated remasters.
Given that the Greek mythology segment of the series was originally released on older PlayStation consoles, including the PSP and PS Vita, and considering Sony's recent interest in remastering classic titles, these rumors seem increasingly plausible. Remastering these legendary games could breathe new life into Kratos' iconic adventures, making them relevant for today's gaming audience.
