Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest is nearing its conclusion, unveiling lore speculated since the game's inception and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire proves exceptionally challenging.
This formidable dual-sword wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by Gosoythoth's influence. Mirroring Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is achievable. Here's a comprehensive guide to defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.
Locate the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire within the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Situated in a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, this domain offers standard rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.
Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter: "When All Becomes A Monument" unlocks this boss. Alternatively, access it via the Quick Challenge in the Adventurer's Handbook.
Success hinges significantly on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani.
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire, though largely stationary, summons three Pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora. Nightsoul Blessing characters expedite their defeat.
While other characters can destroy the Pillars, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina significantly reduce the time required, preventing the Dragon's Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the Dragon for approximately 10 seconds, allowing for concentrated damage.
However, pillar destruction speed varies depending on the character used. During the meteor animation, equip a shield and switch to a healer. Consistent healing is crucial to survive the Corrosion effect, even with a shield; unshielded characters risk one-shot death. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are highly effective; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett offer viable alternatives.
Dodging the Dragon's unpredictable attacks is challenging. Its smoke-based movement and rapid attacks, including sword slashes and smashes, significantly reduce the battlefield, hindering maneuverability.
When the battlefield shrinks, stay close to the Dragon and attack from underneath while prioritizing defense. Consistent healing counters the Eroded Dragon Breath's Pyro and Erosion damage. Staying near its hands avoids the Dragon Breath's full range. The Dragon's sword slashes necessitate immediate healing to mitigate Erosion. A dedicated healer is essential.
Regardless of Natlan character ownership, Co-Op Mode provides assistance, particularly during the Pillar phase. Use the "Match" button to team up with other players for an easier fight.
Unlike previous Weekly Bosses, this fight lacks multiple phases but demands considerable time and strategic planning.
