Gamescom 2024's Opening Night Live (ONL) promises exciting reveals, with host Geoff Keighley confirming both new game announcements and updates on anticipated titles.
Geoff Keighley's recent Twitter (X) post confirmed that Gamescom's ONL will unveil fresh game announcements alongside updates for previously announced and highly anticipated releases.
While Gamescom has already teased appearances from titles including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the show is set to surprise viewers with previously unannounced games. The Gamescom 2024 ONL livestream begins August 20 at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.
Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay reveal of Don't Nod's interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Furthermore, THQ Nordic will showcase a new game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the Little Nightmares series.
Call of Duty fans can look forward to the first live campaign playthrough of Black Ops 6. Although Nintendo won't be attending Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company will be a key highlight of the event.
