New Game Announced by Streets of Rage 4 Developers

Publisher Dotemu, in collaboration with studios Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, has announced the upcoming release of Absolum, a thrilling fantasy beat 'em up infused with roguelite elements. Set in the enchanting yet ravaged world of Talamh, which has been scarred by a magical cataclysm, the game explores a narrative where the populace dreads magic. This fear is manipulated by the despotic ruler, King-Sun Azra, who uses his Crimson Order to enslave mages. Against this backdrop, a courageous ensemble of heroes emerges to challenge his tyranny. This group includes the necromancer Galandra, the defiant gnome Karl, the mage Brom, and the enigmatic Sidr.

Players will dive into a world of intense action, where they can upgrade their characters' abilities, unleash powerful combos, and cast magical spells. Absolum offers both single-player and cooperative modes, allowing players to team up, combine their attacks, and synchronize their strikes to execute devastating combinations that can turn the tide of battle.
