As the chill of winter sets in, it's no surprise that top mobile games are embracing the season with themed events. Garena's Free Fire is the latest to jump on the bandwagon with their exciting Winterlands 2024 update. This update brings a fresh wave of content, including a new character, enhanced movement mechanics, and more to celebrate the frosty season.
Introducing Koda, the new character hailing from the arctic. This young man sports a mystical fox mask that amplifies his senses and abilities. His unique skill, Aurora Vision, gives him a significant advantage in detecting enemies and enhancing his mobility. With Aurora Vision, you can spot foes hiding behind cover (as long as they're not crouching or prone) and pinpoint enemy locations during the parachute phase, making Koda a valuable asset on the battlefield.
One of the standout features of the Winterlands 2024 update is the introduction of Frosty Tracks. These ice-covered rails let you dash across the map while engaging in combat, turning, and using throwables. Along these tracks, you'll find Special Coin Machines that reward you with 100 FF coins, which you can collect while gliding. Frosty Tracks will be available in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, adding a thrilling new dynamic to your gameplay.
Stay frosty with the new Aurora Events, which will appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. These events feature aurora-affected Coin Machines in Battle Royale and aurora-affected Supply Gadgets in Clash Squad. By interacting with these special items and completing the event quests, you'll grant a buff to all your teammates, enhancing your team's performance.
While Free Fire continues to dominate the charts, there's a whole world of multiplayer games waiting for you to explore.
