The eagerly anticipated hero shooter FragPunk has hit a snag in its release plans for console gamers. Bad Guitar, the creative force behind the game, has announced a delay in the launch of FragPunk on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S due to unforeseen technical issues. Originally slated for a universal release on March 6, console players will now have to wait a bit longer. The developers have not yet provided a new release date but have promised to keep the community informed as they work through these challenges.
In response to the delay, Bad Guitar is taking steps to ease the disappointment of console pre-order customers. Those who have already pre-ordered the game on consoles will be eligible for a refund, should they choose to take it. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, these players will receive in-game bonuses, including credits and rewards from the first season of FragPunk, which will be available upon the eventual release of the console versions.
On a brighter note, PC gamers have nothing to worry about. The launch of FragPunk on PC remains on track and is still scheduled for March 6. Fans on this platform can look forward to diving into the action-packed world of FragPunk without any delays.
