Starting The Getaway in *Fortnite* is straightforward. Simply launch *Fortnite* on your preferred platform, head to the Lobby, and select Discover. Look for The Getaway and hit the Play button to start queuing. If you can't find it, use the search bar in the top left corner of the Lobby, type in "The Getaway," and it should appear instantly.

What Is The Getaway?

The Getaway is a thrilling heist-style game mode where players must retrieve a jewel from the map and escape using a Getaway Van. This PvP mode pits you against other teams vying for the same jewels. The first three teams to secure a jewel and escape with a van are declared winners, though you can also win by eliminating rival teams. A unique aspect of this iteration of The Getaway is its availability in Zero Build mode, catering to players who prefer not to use *Fortnite*'s building mechanics. Additionally, you can play in Duos, Squads, Unranked, and Ranked formats.
