Elite Challenges Return in Conflict of Nations: World War 3

It's always a disappointment when a beloved feature is removed from your favorite pastime, whether it's in video games, tabletop gaming, or other hobbies. However, today marks a special occasion where a fan-favorite is making a comeback in Conflict of Nations: WW3, with the return of the much-loved clan vs clan battles through Elite Challenges.

So, how do these Elite Challenges work? They are team-based battles where alliances can compete against each other. What sets them apart from regular alliance challenges is that participants must be at least rank 25 and gold, the game's premium currency, is not allowed. This creates a pure test of skill and strategy for dedicated players of Conflict of Nations.

To celebrate the return of this feature, two challenge maps are available: the Mediterranean and Antarctica. Elite Challenges differentiate themselves further by providing players with 2x starting resources, production, and access to the tech tree by day 10. This leads to larger armies and more varied technological applications, enhancing the strategic depth of the game.

However, as Dorado Games has explained, implementing these challenges became increasingly challenging as their community grew. Additionally, the absence of premium currency in this mode ensures a level playing field, which is likely to be appreciated by nearly all players.
