Schedule 1's developer has offered fans a sneak peek at its next update, which includes a new building, a Jukebox, and more. Keep reading to discover what's planned for the upcoming patch and a potential future map expansion.
Schedule 1 remains one of Steam's best-selling titles and aims to maintain that position through regular updates. On May 1, solo developer Tyler shared an initial glimpse of the forthcoming update in a Twitter (X) post.
The post featured several images from the upcoming patch, which is nearly ready for open beta testing. These screenshots reveal a new structure labeled "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that players believe will allow customization of the game's soundtrack, and an empty corridor.
While this preview is available, no official release date has been announced for Schedule 1's next update. It will first debut on the beta branch before full deployment. To participate, players need to adjust their Steam settings for the game and opt into the beta program. Although further specifics are pending, enthusiasts can follow the game's Trello board for ongoing updates and developer plans.

Last week, Tyler hosted his inaugural development stream on Twitch, offering players a closer look at his roadmap and upcoming features. During the broadcast, he demonstrated some 3D modeling work and outlined his vision for expanding the game's map.
Tyler mentioned plans to introduce a "swampy, slummy area" and expand the upscale district by adding more houses along the cliffs. Once these are complete, his next focus will be developing the island across from the main play area.

Though these additions promise significant enhancements, they may require considerable development time since Tyler works independently. Nonetheless, the community remains enthusiastic about the game's future content.
