For Donkey Kong Bananza, there are no special editions available. Your only decision is whether to opt for the physical or digital version of the game.
Nintendo has introduced a new $79.99 price point for certain Switch 2 titles like Mario Kart World and upgraded original Switch games like Super Mario Party Jamboree. However, Donkey Kong Bananza maintains a $69.99 MSRP. This is $10 more than the typical price for most original Switch games, but it's a relief it's not the higher $79.99.
Donkey Kong Bananza marks the first new 3D Donkey Kong game since the 1999 N64 classic, Donkey Kong 64. A standout feature of this game is Donkey Kong's new digging ability, which allows him to pound and smash his way through the ground and cliff sides, uncovering hidden secrets and treasures. While many levels are set underground, players will explore a range of environments including forests, canyons, lagoons, and frozen tundras. The game also retains series staples like side-scrolling and mine cart sections, promising a fun-filled experience. For a deeper look, check out our hands-on preview of Donkey Kong Bananza.
