Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon Aladdin's arrival in Dreamlight Valley, he immediately invites you to hang out with the Magic Carpet and take a photo with it. To complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, which starts in the Agrabah realm, equip Carpet as a Companion from the wardrobe menu and snap a selfie with it.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

To unlock Aladdin's Level 2 quest, "Good As Gold," level him up by giving him his favorite gifts. Aladdin enlists your help to test Scrooge McDuck's new security system. Start by talking to Scrooge and taking photos inside his shop. You need to capture:

• A door that guards more treasure than the Cave of Wonders.
• A way to reach the second floor of the shop (x2).
• Ways to make quick escapes from the guards (x3).

Take broad shots of the vault door behind the desk and both staircases to meet these requirements efficiently. Discuss the next phase with Aladdin, who suggests dressing in dark, sporty clothing. While optional, changing clothes between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. adds a touch of realism.

Once ready, enter the shop and press the big, red button on the wall to the left of the counter to initiate the security test. The store transforms into a closed state with pools of light and buttons that control them. Navigate downstairs without getting caught by pressing the buttons in this sequence:

1. Start with the center button Aladdin points toward.
2. Move to the back right wall to turn off two upstairs lights.
3. Press the button above the right staircase to shift the spotlight away from the left staircase button.
4. Press the button above the left staircase to deactivate the light not over the initial center button, then press the center button again to turn off the right staircase light.

Downstairs, adjust the spotlight at the front door by pressing the button on the right side of the counter. Turn off the light over the security test start button by pressing the button on the left display counter. Finally, press the button to the left side of the counter and speak to Aladdin in front of the vault.

Coins will start floating around the shop. Collect all four by gliding and pressing the interact button when close. Hand them over to Aladdin, who mentions that some coins have escaped into Dreamlight Valley. Exit the shop and collect the remaining nine coins around your house. Deliver them to Aladdin at his and Jasmine's house, where he adds them to Scrooge's growing pile of gold.

Take a photo with Aladdin and the gold, then listen to him and Scrooge discuss the mission. Conclude the "Good As Gold" quest by speaking with Aladdin one last time.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin, now settled in Dreamlight Valley, wants to create a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Begin by talking to Merlin, who directs you to the Dreamlight Library to find three books on Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate these books on the floor next to the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and to the left of the desk in the center of the room.

After collecting the books, give them to Aladdin, who then sends you to Minnie for assistance in crafting the carpet. Gather these materials:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Deliver the materials to Aladdin's house, where he will craft the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Accept the Magic Scroll from him and interact with the carpet on the floor to make it fly. Receive the carpet from Aladdin and follow him to the Disney castle entrance.

Aladdin has planned a tour around the Valley using the new magic carpet, which serves as a Glider skin. Ensure your energy bar is overfilled (yellow) by consuming enough prepared meals. Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe menu and start the tour by gliding under the banner in the Plaza’s main square. Navigate through the Forest of Valor, Dazzle Beach, Peaceful Meadow, and end at the pier.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin initiates the "All That Glitters" quest, aiming to create a bouquet for Jasmine that surpasses the palace gardens of Agrabah. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers of any type and deliver them to Aladdin. Witness his disappointment when Jasmine compares the bouquet to the palace gardens.

Aladdin then seeks a special surprise for Jasmine, recalling a scroll from Scrooge McDuck. Follow the scroll's clue to "begin at the mermaid’s isle." Travel to Skull Island, collect the Golden Sun Piece from the upper right side of the peninsula, and insert it into the tall rock to the left of the entrance.

Follow the image of the broken-down pillar north from the rock, dig up a box in the sand, fish for a pillar piece in the golden circles near the raft, and open a nearby barrel. Add the pieces to the Pillar, but nothing happens. Consult Aladdin, then take a photo of the Pillar and return to the Valley.

Talk to Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel about the Pillar, but they offer no insights. Return to Ariel's island, where Jasmine joins you, suggesting the pieces rotate based on island clues. Interact with the Golden Sun Piece to find the clue: "From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers." Adjust the Pillar pieces accordingly: water in the middle, seed at the bottom, and flower at the top.
