Deltarune is set to offer an exciting experience with exclusive features on its Switch 2 version. Dive into the details of Deltarune's unique offerings for the Switch 2, and find out the pricing for this eagerly anticipated game.

During the latest Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 on April 2, it was revealed that Deltarune will be coming to the new console with chapters 3 and 4 included. One of the standout features for the Switch 2 version is a unique "SPECIAL ROOM" designed to utilize the mouse functionality of the new Joy-Cons. As Toby Fox, the game's developer, mentioned in a Fangamer newsletter, "So, we made a very small SPECIAL ROOM which takes advantage of using MOUSE CONTROLS ON TWO CONTROLLERS AT ONCE, only possible on the Nintendo Switch 2!!"
For those playing on non-Switch 2 devices, this room will still be accessible but with an alternative control scheme. Additionally, players can transfer their save files from the Nintendo Switch demo of Deltarune 1 and 2 to the new version, ensuring a seamless transition.

Toby Fox also shared exciting news regarding the game's pricing and future content. Deltarune will be priced at $24.99 and will include Chapters 1 through 4. While Chapters 1 and 2 were initially released for free in 2018 and 2021 respectively, it was previously announced that future chapters would be paid. However, Fox has now confirmed that upcoming Chapters will be added as free updates. He stated, "But, it's my hope that as we complete more Chapters, you'll feel like this game was a super super super super good deal."

The game’s soundtrack will also be available on Steam for $14.99, featuring over 150 songs from Chapters 3 and 4. Future songs will be added to the soundtrack for free, ensuring that players get the most value from their purchase. Deltarune aims to provide an exceptional gaming experience, making every penny spent well worth it with continuous free updates and content.
Deltarune Chapters 1-4 are set to launch on June 5, 2025, alongside the release of the Switch 2. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates by checking out our article below!
