Dead by Daylight has joined forces with the iconic Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating new 2v8 mode. This special event brings the thrill of Capcom’s legendary horror franchise into the mix, offering a fresh and exciting twist to the gameplay experience.
In this unique crossover, players can embody two of Resident Evil’s most notorious villains: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Puppeteer. They will confront a squad of Resident Evil’s beloved heroes, including:
The action unfolds within the hauntingly familiar setting of the Raccoon City Police Station, adding an extra layer of immersion for fans of both franchises.
What makes this collaboration stand out is the unprecedented pairing of Nemesis and Wesker in a back-to-back gameplay format. This marks the first time these two characters have been teamed up in such a manner, creating a truly unique experience. Both villains utilize their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis harnesses the power of the T-Virus, while Wesker employs Uroboros to target Survivors.
Within the 2v8 mode, players can gather special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs offer various strategic advantages; for instance, some can heal Survivors, while yellow herbs can be used to repair hooks. Notably, Killers can also collect these herbs, which temporarily boost their speed.
Whether you're diving into the 2v8 mode for the first time or you’re a veteran player, it's important to be aware of the significant gameplay changes. The conventional Powers and Perks have been substituted with a new Class System, introducing a range of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors.
The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil event will be available until February 25, providing players with plenty of time to immerse themselves in this thrilling crossover. Don't miss out on this unique blend of horror and strategy!
