Tomorrow marks an exciting milestone for *Monster Hunter Wilds* with the launch of its first Title Update, introducing quests that challenge players to compete for the fastest clear times. In anticipation of this update, Capcom has issued a firm reminder to the community about maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming environment.
In a recent post on the Monster Hunter X/Twitter account, Capcom warned: "To ensure a fun and fair experience for our players, we will take action against accounts participating in fraudulent ranking activity, such as the use of cheating or external tools. Accounts deemed to be in breach of this may be suspended, or have restrictions placed on them, such as being unable to receive rewards from these quests." This clear statement underscores Capcom's commitment to integrity within the game.
Moreover, Capcom emphasized that the consequences of cheating extend beyond the cheaters themselves. Players who join multiplayer hunts with individuals using fraudulent methods could see their quest completion times invalidated, and their "right to rewards" revoked for the entire party. To mitigate this risk, Capcom advises: "Please take caution to avoid playing multiplayer with those who are engaging in prohibited activity, or those you suspect of such." The company also encourages players to report any instances of cheating they encounter during quests.
The new quests will offer appealing rewards, including cosmetic pendants. Some pendants will be distributed to all participants, while others will be awarded based on Completion Time or the hunter's ranking. This reward system explains why Capcom is intensifying its efforts to combat cheating, as it directly impacts the fairness and satisfaction of the reward distribution.
The Time-Based Competition Quests will be available starting with Title Update 1 and will be managed through the new Arena Quest Counter located in the Grand Hub in Suja. To access these quests, players must first complete a special tutorial mission to unlock the Grand Hub. Make sure to prioritize this upon the release of Title Update 1 tomorrow in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For further details, check out the *Monster Hunter Wilds* Title Update 1 patch notes.
