Marvel Rivals has unveiled the official artwork of the hero Blade as part of the game's exciting Midnight Features event quests. As Season 1 progresses, players are diving into new maps, a fresh game mode, and a rich battle pass brimming with cosmetics.
To access the Midnight Features quests in Marvel Rivals, navigate to the Season section of the game's menu. These quests are organized into five chapters, each featuring three challenges. By completing these special quests, players can earn rewards such as Chrono Tokens, Units, and even a free skin for Thor. While some challenges remain time-locked, all five chapters of the event are set to be fully unlocked by January 17.
Completing Chapter 3 of the Midnight Features quests rewards players with a Gallery Card showcasing Season 1's antagonist, Dracula, in combat with the hero Blade. Although rumors about Blade's addition to Marvel Rivals have circulated since his character model was discovered in the game's files, this marks the first official confirmation from NetEase Games. According to Season 1's storyline, Dracula has strategically removed Blade and Doctor Strange from the battlefield, viewing them as significant threats to his schemes.
With Blade's appearance in the game's artwork, speculation is rife that he might debut as a playable character in Season 2. Many fans theorize that Season 1 will conclude with The Fantastic Four thwarting Dracula's plans to save New York City, Blade, and Doctor Strange. Discussions are ongoing about Blade's potential role, with a consensus leaning towards him being a formidable Duelist. Leaks suggest that Blade will feature a transformation ability in Marvel Rivals, akin to the ultimate abilities of Magik and Hulk. This transformation is rumored to boost his strength, modify his attacks, and grant him the ability to see enemies through walls.
Blade is not the only character rumored to be joining the game soon. Ultron's full ability kit in Marvel Rivals was leaked during Season 0, hinting that he might be introduced as a Strategist capable of providing healing and support to allies. Initially, leakers speculated Ultron would debut in Season 1, but with the release of The Fantastic Four, it appears NetEase Games has adjusted its plans. While leaks often hold truth, fans should approach them with caution until official confirmation is provided. With an array of exciting content on the horizon, the future of Marvel Rivals looks incredibly promising.
