Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update for Battlecruisers 6.4. This update is packed with exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts, enhancing the game's already rich universe.
The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.
Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing for more personalized gameplay.
In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the combat scenarios. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.
Balancing changes are widespread, with some ships receiving buffs. For instance, the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate have been boosted from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health has increased from 4000 to 4200. On the other hand, the ShipTurret’s damage has been enhanced from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16.
Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features enhanced shading, and the visual effects of cruiser and ship destruction have been improved for a more dramatic experience.
Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, further enriching the game's narrative.
Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. Players command their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate the perilous landscape and confront formidable adversaries.
Dive into the action by downloading Battlecruisers from the Google Play Store. And don't miss out on our coverage of this year's Days of Bloom event, which brings The Little Prince back to Sky: Children of the Light.
