Bam Margera to Feature in THPS 3+4 Following Tony Hawk's Insistence

by Eleanor Apr 12,2025

Bam Margera, a notable figure in the skateboarding world and star of the Jackass franchise, has been confirmed to be included in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 game. This news was revealed by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream on The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

PlayBagley disclosed that the game was already completed when Tony Hawk personally reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Initially, Hawk was told it wasn't possible, but his persistence paid off, ensuring Margera's spot in the final lineup.

IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his professional skateboarding career and his role in the Jackass series, has faced significant personal challenges with substance abuse, including multiple rehab stints. He was dismissed from the Jackass Forever project and was subject to a restraining order from Jackass director Jeff Tremaine following alleged threats.

Recent videos of Hawk and Margera skateboarding together had sparked rumors about Margera's potential return to the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, announced earlier this month, is set to launch on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy and marks a revival of the series following the merger of its former developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard, which had initially threatened the project's continuation.
