Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer

Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial update by modder Celerev, transforms the original Trials of Tav mod by adding a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty.

This enhanced version boasts new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this boss is considered a true completion of the roguelike run.

The update doesn't stop at a single boss; over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare foes like Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been integrated. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty scaling has been tweaked to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable roadblocks.

Mod creator Celerev acknowledges the crucial contribution of Hippo0o, the original mod's author, in building a foundation for this expandable game mode. Importantly, the original Trials of Tav remains available for players who prefer the classic experience.

Players seeking a demanding challenge, or those simply anticipating Patch 8 (with its promised crossplay and other enhancements), will find Trials of Tav - Reloaded a worthwhile experience.
