April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

by Dylan Apr 16,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting trio of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were announced through a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be accessible to subscribers at no extra cost from April 1 until the next rotation on May 5.

The April lineup caters to a variety of gaming tastes. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a standout title, offering a faithful first-person shooter experience where players embody the iconic Alex Murphy. This game, which received a 7/10 in our review, was further enhanced with a New Game Plus mode in a January update last year, adding even more replay value.

For those craving multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre from Sumo Digital and Gun Media provides an intense asymmetrical multiplayer experience. Players can either survive or take on the role of the Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. Our review awarded it a 6/10, noting its thrilling, albeit technically challenging, gameplay.

Rounding out the selection, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory by Bandai Namco offers a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster-collecting gameplay. With over 320 Digimon to encounter and collect, it provides a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth story.

As these titles become available, PlayStation Plus subscribers should also remember to download the March 2025 titles, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, before they are replaced on March 31.
