Two exciting events are coming to Pokémon Go this month, featuring the debuts of Applin and Dynamax Entei. Whether you're drawn to the adorable or the powerful, these events have something for everyone.
Sweet Discoveries runs from April 24th to 29th, introducing the charming Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon, Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Using Tart Apples will evolve it into Flapple, while Sweet Apples will transform it into Appletun. Keep an eye out for apples in the wild, especially near Mossy Lures, where you might also encounter Applin.
During the event, you can encounter wild Pokémon like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer chances to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, will allow you to collect Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version offers additional Mossy Lure Modules and more encounters with Applin.
Don’t miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon.
For those who prefer power over sweetness, mark your calendars for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th-27th, where Dynamax Entei makes its debut. You might even encounter a Shiny Entei if luck is on your side.
Prepare for these events with these bonuses: an increased Max Particle cap, reduced adventuring distance to collect them, and boosted Power Spot refresh rates. You'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot you visit. Leading up to the event, start the free Timed Research on April 21st to earn a Dynamax Sobble, perfect for balancing your team against Entei.
Stock up for both events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store. Also, don't forget to check out this list of redeemable Pokémon Go codes to enhance your gaming experience!
