Samsung introduced six Mini-LED TV models for 2025, with three available for purchase starting today. The Neo QLED QN990F and QN900F are true 8K TVs featuring new anti-glare technology, the One Connect wireless transmitter box, and access to Samsung's Art Store, previously exclusive to the Frame TVs. The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-tier QN90F includes a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and anti-glare coating, similar to the S95F. The mid-range QN85F is Samsung's first 100" TV.

The new OLED TVs—the S95F, S90F, and S85F—come with incremental upgrades over their predecessors. The flagship S95F model features the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F includes the Gen 3 processor, 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for TV models 55" and up. The S85F, the "budget" OLED option, comes with a Gen 2 processor and is the only model available now.

2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV

***Not yet released***

The Frame Pro is set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV. It features a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer, brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity via a "One Connect" box that can be discreetly stowed away. The standard The Frame TV will also be available at a presumably lower price.

Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider

Samsung’s 2024 mini LED QN90D is a refined television with an improved interface and a range of new features that enhance its value. Despite its high cost, the brightness, color quality, multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, built-in gaming capabilities, and other features justify the price.

AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung

Samsung is heavily investing in AI for 2025, introducing "Vision AI" that recognizes content, including actors and settings, and provides real-time personalized commentary. More models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro to optimize image quality dynamically. Other AI features include Active Voice Amplifier Pro for enhanced voice isolation, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Additionally, many TV panels will incorporate the matte-like anti-glare coating seen on the S95D in 2024, which minimizes reflections without desaturating the image.
