World of Warcraft Prix Rinkes pour les joueurs australiens et néo-zélandais
À compter du 7 février, Blizzard Entertainment mettra en œuvre des augmentations de prix pour toutes les transactions World of Warcraft en jeu en Australie et en Nouvelle-Zélande. Cet ajustement, attribué aux fluctuations du marché mondial et régional, affecte divers services, y compris les abonnements et les achats en jeu.
Les joueurs actuellement souscrits au 6 février conserveront leurs taux existants pour une période de grâce pouvant aller jusqu'à six mois. Ce n'est pas la première révision des prix pour WOW; Blizzard a historiquement ajusté les prix dans divers pays pour refléter les changements économiques. Cependant, le taux d'abonnement mensuel américain est resté inchangé à 14,99 $ depuis 2004.
Les augmentations de prix pour l'Australie et la Nouvelle-Zélande verront l'abonnement mensuel passer de 19,95 $ AUD à 23,95 $ AUD et de 23,99 $ NZD à 26,99 $ NZD. Les abonnements annuels augmenteront également, plafonnant à 249,00 $ AUD et NZD 280,68 $ respectivement. Le jeton WOW augmentera à 32,00 $ AUD et 36,00 $ NZD.

Bien que le prix augmente, en fonction des taux de change actuels, s'alignent à peu près avec les prix américains, les taux de change fluctuants ont provoqué des réactions mitigées de la base du joueur.
