George RR Martin a récemment annoncé la prochaine édition illustrée de A Feast for Crows , le quatrième livre de la série A Song of Ice and Fire pour recevoir ce traitement. Illustré par Jeffrey R. McDonald, le livre devrait sortir le 4 novembre 2025. Les précommandes sont disponibles auprès de grands détaillants en ligne comme Amazon, Barnes & Noble et Target.
A Feast for Crows: The Illustrated Edition
Cette sortie marque cinq ans depuis la dernière édition illustrée ( une tempête d'épées ) a été publiée en novembre 2020. La nouvelle édition comprendra également une préface de Joe Abercrombie, et un aperçu des illustrations intérieures est promis plus tard ce printemps. Les trois premiers livres illustrés de la série sont déjà disponibles à l'achat.

Bien que cette nouvelle soit passionnante pour les fans des éditions illustrées, il n'y a toujours pas de date de sortie en béton pour les vents de l'hiver . L'interview de Martin en décembre 2024 a fait allusion à la possibilité de ne jamais terminer la série, bien qu'il ait déjà écrit 1 100 pages (en novembre 2023). Il semble probable que les éditions illustrées des cinq premiers livres seront achevées avant que les vents de l'hiver ne viennent de publication.
