NetEase Games confirme un flux constant de nouveaux héros pour Marvel Rivals, avec un nouveau personnage qui lance toutes les six semaines. Ce plan ambitieux, révélé par le directeur créatif Guangyun Chen dans une interview avec Metro, verra chaque saison de trois mois divisée en deux moitiés, introduisant chacune un héros jouable. Cet engagement s'étend aux mises à jour de contenu saisonniers en cours, y compris de nouvelles cartes et histoires.
"Chaque saison apportera de nouveaux récits saisonniers, de nouvelles cartes et de nouveaux héros. Nous séparons chaque saison en deux", a déclaré Chen. "Une saison dure trois mois, et chaque moitié présentera un nouveau héros. Notre objectif est d'améliorer continuellement l'expérience et de garder notre communauté engagée."
La première saison, "Eternal Night Falls", a déjà présenté ce plan, en lançant avec Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman en première mi-temps, suivi de The Thing and Human Torch dans la seconde. Le maintien de ce rythme avec une liste diversifiée de Heroes Marvel sera une entreprise importante.
