Game Introduction

Back Alley, a card game reminiscent of bridge and spades, boasts origins in the military, likely dating back to World War II. The objective? Win tricks to accumulate points. Players bid on the number of tricks they anticipate taking; accuracy in bidding, without overestimating, maximizes points. Gameplay begins with a single card per hand in doubles, two in singles, escalating by one card per round until thirteen, then descending back to the starting number.
