Although the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s White Flare & Black Bolt Elite Trainer Boxes have seen significant price hikes due to market fluctuations, Amazon and TCGplayer have recently reduced their prices from standard rates — while Walmart continues to offer strong value for bulk purchases.

For single units, Walmart has lowered its listings significantly. Previously charging over $110 for select Pokémon Elite Trainer Boxes, the retailer now offers White Flare ETBs at $77.88 and Black Bolt ETBs at $79.88. If you are targeting some of the rarest cards in Black Bolt or the top chase cards in White Flare, these prices represent the best current opportunity on the market.

TCGplayer, known for its rapidly fluctuating prices, currently lists items at comparable rates — with a White Flare ETB priced at $80.89 after accounting for shipping costs. At the same time, the lowest-priced Black Bolt ETB listing is now available for $88.88.

While these prices remain nearly double the MSRP of $49.99, high demand and limited supply have typically pushed marked prices above $100 — making this a relatively favorable deal by comparison.

For collectors who prefer purchasing multiple units, have a larger budget, or find that TCGplayer and Walmart are out of stock for individual boxes, Walmart still offers multi-unit SKUs with better per-unit pricing.

Walmart’s two-pack of White Flare ETBs is priced at $163.84, equating to $81.92 per box. Additionally, the retailer continues to offer Black Bolt ETB bundles containing up to six boxes for $539.28, which breaks down to approximately $89.88 each.

Given that Walmart’s individual ETB prices are now lower than those on Amazon — according to price tracking service CamelCamelCamel — we anticipate this inventory will not last long.
