This app offers a modern take on crosswords: scanwords! Download our second Sloword app today. Access scanwords instantly via the initial screen image or through the "Settings - Other applications" menu.

Scanwords, a uniquely Russian phenomenon, stand out with their literary, humorous, and culturally relevant questions—a surprising element within a seemingly simple crossword format. The Russian appreciation for language is reflected in these puzzles.

The app features a diverse range of scanwords: easy and challenging, photographic, classic, and associative ("one word" or "two words"). Each page features a character from our fun cast.

All scanwords are free. The app provides a year's worth of content (52-53 issues, 20 scanwords each), all within a compact 50MB download size. No internet connection is needed once the scanwords are downloaded. New issues are released every Friday at 12:00 local time (with optional notifications). Automatic downloads occur upon app login. You can also download or delete individual issues or download all issues at once via "Settings."

The app's core features, including access to all scanwords, are free, supported by advertiser revenue (a single banner per page and one interstitial ad before each scanword). Solving is uninterrupted. The advertiser offers free hints for watching their videos.

Users can optionally: a) disable ads permanently; b) subscribe to remove ads and gain unlimited hints; or c) accumulate hints. These options are detailed in the "Shop."
