Find out why genuine pilots trust X-Plane for their training.

It all begins with our unparalleled flight physics—the same advanced model powering our FAA-certified desktop simulator. It meticulously simulates everything from wing flex to landing gear tilt.

We combine this with desktop-quality aircraft featuring multiple liveries and fully interactive 3D cockpits. These cockpits are so detailed you can perform complete startup procedures using hundreds of authentic buttons, knobs, and switches. With functional gauges, displays, and more, they match the realism of our full-scale desktop simulation.

But even the best aircraft need a world to explore. That's why every free region comes with accurate terrain, realistic cityscapes, and true-to-life 3D airports—complete with terminals, jetways, hangars, and more.

Crave more? Subscribe to unlock our global scenery package, granting access to over 37,000 airports, with more than 11,500 featuring detailed 3D terminals, hangars, and structures.
