Application Description

Use Clapperboard to record videos and verify their authenticity on the blockchain.

Clapperboard lets you record videos using any camera (CCTV, webcam, action camera, drone, etc.) and verify their authenticity and authorship.

First, create a Clapperboard account and add funds to your balance.

To create an authentic video:

Add a comment to your video.
Request a QR code.
Display the QR code on camera while recording.

The generated QR code and your comment will be permanently stored on the NEM blockchain. You'll then receive the video from your camera.

To confirm the video's integrity and that it was created after the QR code was generated, upload the video segment containing the QR code to http://product.prover.io/. A successful upload will provide you with a Certificate of Authenticity containing video details.
