在《游戏王：决斗链接》直播中，官方宣布游戏最新更新将加入来自《游戏王Go Rush!!》动画系列的Yudias Velgear以及配套的新卡牌。此外，游戏还将推出Go Rush!!主题地图和单人模式对手。与动画系列一样，本次更新将加入新的融合卡牌机制，该机制将场上两张正面表示的怪兽送入墓地作为素材进行特定卡牌的融合召唤。最后，本次更新还将加入两个新的卡包和构筑卡组。
此外，本次更新还将带来大量UI和卡牌个性化设置。您可以在主菜单中自定义您的主页，选择代表角色的不同姿势，以及在背景中展示卡组的不同选项。
更大的更新在于“纪年卡牌”功能，您可以根据自己的喜好自定义和个性化您的卡牌。从卡牌图案、字体颜色到边框颜色，您都可以将自己喜欢的卡牌变成更稀有的版本（需付费）。您甚至可以添加印章以表明这是您的原创设计，以及一个统计追踪器来追踪您使用这张特定卡牌的胜负场次和使用次数。
